There's not much more of a PEACEFUL place than a graveyard. I shot this a few weeks ago with my husband, Martin, at the Golden Gate National Cemetery. It's so timely to have gone there for a "photo safari" in terms of GWB wanting to send more troops, yet it actually seems more of a place of unrest than "peace" right now. But I DO "pray" fervently for those men and women who risk their lives everyday in Iraq and die unseen and for all those lives already lost in previous wars and who are laid to rest in cemeteries like these across the country, and I wish all of their loved ones Peace. |
